my knee hurts

if there's one power i wanna have right now, it will be the power to stop time. really. ppl really wans you to decide things on the spot. like *snap!*

like:
caller: "hello. is this Teh Si Hui?"
Me: "yes."
caller: "hi. this is ***** (i forgot) from Toys 'R' Us. are you still interested in the part time job?"
Me: "i'm not sure." (coz they have not been contacting me the whole of nov, and when i've finally decided not to work this holi and rest, they come)
*after like 1 mere sec*
Me: "i don think so. so sorry."
caller: "ok. bye!" *click*

that's it... i don even noe wad makes me say i don wan. sian. muz be looking at the calander with many many dates marked out for funny stuff. hmm... =(
i don mind working, but i'll be out everyday. i don mind that too coz chilling at home isn't a very nice thing to do anyway. but i'll be super tired and it'll be like sch days, which i don wan coz i wanna recharge for the freaking freaking yr ahead. sian. i'm getting fickle-minded like vanessa.

argh! shouldn't have said no. and who got so idoitic go call back saying, "hey, i called a momnet ago. i rejected the job, but now i wan it back. can?" bad impression even before they c you. haha!

nvm... shall console myself with very good news from SMU. =)

btw...found out something new today:
Shin splints are a condition where there is pain in the anterior tibia caused by overuse of the legs. They are most common in inexperienced runners who overtrain, but anyone engaging in running or other high-impact sports may experience them. The pain is typically in the upper, anterior tibia and is worsened by exertion. There may be slight tenderness of the affected region.
Shin splints result from the anterior leg muscles being stressed by running, especially on hard surfaces or extensively on the toes or by sports that involve jumping. Insufficient padding in the shoes is a contributing factor.

The treatment for shin splints is rest. Running and other strenuous lower limb activities should be avoided until the pain subsides and is no longer elicited by activity
(extract from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shin_splint)

not that i'm suffering from it but some of my soccer mates do. so no harm finding out bout it.

but my knew hurts. at a funny place. at the outer side of the knee. really bad. i can walk normally, but when i climb down/up the stairs, it hurts like crazy. and when i try to straighten my legs, *ouch* man. when i do such stuff, my pace slows down to the speed of an old woman lah. i'm so glad i do not live in a terrace or bungalow, or i'll be sleeping at the ground floor tonight. hope it goes away soon.

and the weather is not coorperating well. rain when it shouldn't and fair/cloudy when it should. i shld be wishing i can be like Storm from the X-men. Nahaha!
