worst age to be
luv that swirly clock/date thing turning non-stop on the screen. very funny. got it from dian fang's blog. nv ask for his permission but thanks anyway.
speaking of thanks, there's this one person i've gotta thank. it's this particular sales person in woking at MPH parkway. i don't know her name, so she shall be called Ms Nice. today i went down after SPA (stupid SPA) specially to get the Her World magazine coz they are giving out freebies like Maybelline mascara and lipstick. i sound kiasu. but the mascara and lipstick is worth $17.90 le, while the mag is worth $6. wad a great deal rite? and obviously, ppl who read the papers yesterday got there first and snap up the freebies really fast. When i got there, Ms. Nice told me that the mascara was out of stock and there's only the lipstick left. i don really want the lipstick coz the colour was pretty intense. so disappointed me walked out empty handed.
then after i crossed the road to go home rite, helena called me (she was wid me) to tell me that Ms Nice just came chasing after her to tell her she can find me another Mascara. How great is that!! so the not-disappointed-already me went back and got the freebie. well.. i couldn't find Ms Nice after i went back, so can't thank her in person. nvm,
Thank you! You've made my day!
i figure out wad's the worst age to be right now. nope, it's not 70 and above. even though u're old and everything is sagging (i mean everything - from eyes to thighs to, well, chest), but considering the amount of $$ that can drops from the sky to the pockets of ppl of that age. it ain't that bad. at least better off than their fellow counterparts in other less well-off countries like africa.
nope it's not the mid life crisis age too. coz u're working and having kids. it's ok. i think. other than the cellulite that is piling up lik no one's busniess on the thighs and arms, and the belly that is slowly but surely protuding out, it ain't that bad either.
i think the worst age to be now is when u're 13 to 15 years old. well for starters, there are many many trivia stuff that are just plain irritating
1. movies.
just look at the no. of NC16 and M18 movies now. the really good ones i mean. like Munich- M18, Underworld evolution - M18, Brokeback Mountain - R21, Wolf Creek - NC16, Final destination 3 - NC16, The constant garderner - NC16, Matchpoint - R21, Carpote - NC16. i pity them as much as i pity myself for being unable to watch Brokeback. but of course as a consolation, there's always the Pink Panther (PG) and other crappy shows of such sort enuff to kill a few hours during class outings.
2. 'curfew'
well the police made "curfew at 11pm" become "'curfew' at 11pm". not much diff coz they will still be there at 11pm. haha! i don really remember being able to be out so late into the night when i was that age. but it seems wierd that now the police have become ur parents too. fun. well, there's always a consolation too - if u're good enuff, u can hitch a ride back home in a police car.
3. Buffet lunches
my dad managed to bluff the person at the door to this particular restaurant that my brother is under 12. it doesn't really matter though coz he's birthday is on 31th dec. so technically he's 13 only, not much diff from 12. but it makes a big diff on the different price u pay, whether it's adult or children. but if the 13-15 yr old kid eats like a lamb, ie nibble nibble nibble and almost nothing gets in, wad a big waste of $$ (that is if u can't bluff) so ppl shld just eat buffet food worthy of their age and pay the actual price so everyone is happy. =D
hmm, can't think of anymore points. the first one was really valid though. maybe i shld go wear some working clothes and heels and sneak in to watch brokeback. or i can just wait for the DVD - easier. blah.

beautiful izzit it?
