4-0

that's weishan and me trying to jump and take a pic. but obviously, i can't seem to get the timing as perfectly as her. so all the attempts ended up with her in nicely in midair and me just in time to land. nvm, we have a reason to jump anyway. coz...
We Won! Yes Yes Yes!!
4-0! in ur face man MRT! who says we can't win lo. i'm so proud of the team. winning is a great/superb/fantastic/wonderful (ok, shall not think of any more words) feeling. the rush of happiness at the final whistle can really bring u over the top. especially if u have nv experience the joy of winning before (don count street soccer lah).
soccer can really get u superly high. even though u're not the one scoring the goal.
she brings it down and cuts it though. and she's so fast the person behind her
nv caught up, even though the ball is wid her. then the opening came and she
strikes, lift up her head to take one curcial look at the goal and turn
back to the ball, swings her leg back and kicks it. bamm! the ball left her
feet. i held my breath. it went IN! UNBELIVABLE!
well i tried my best in commentating but obviously it isn't as good and as engaging as the ones u hear during an english match. got my own feelings added in summore. but that moment was really fantastic. and the best thing is that we can relish it when we run up to them (the scorer) and hug them (lik wad the professionals always do). now i understand their feeling. hahaha!!
to Claudia and Shimin. you guys were great. it is by fate that our paths could cross. and i'm eva grateful for knowing u guys. things will nv be the same without u. parting is nv easy but it's the memories that we have together that counts. i'll miss u guys. a lot. a lot. a lot.
BROKEBACK ROCKS! ok, it's really an oscar-nominated worthy film. i wished it would have won. instead of some ulu movie like Crash. it's not that bad actually. as in there were kissing scene (passionate ones), but other than that, the others are basically shrouded in shadows. i can't really hear them tok though. coz they always murmur in their cowboy language like, "burburburhh..." , meaning "i kinda forget the sript but nvm coz the audience should not be able to noe wad cowboys are toking". subtitles are of little help loh.
then there was this part when they were doing the ya-noe in the dark and my bro walks out,
he,"why is the screen black? r u watching tv or not?"
me (shocked coz i din noe he was out), "Oi! u're not supposed to watch this! go back to u're room now!"
scary man. but i'm surprised my mom didn't make noise when i was watching it. i was even more surprised when she sat down and watched it wid me. but she was pretty grossed out by the gay scenes. of coz ppl don watch that only rite. it's really a sad sad story. of tragic love, unacceptance and unfairness.
and it really makes me wonder how would i, or anyone for that matter, react to ppl lik them. we all say that we're more open minded now. but hu noes? they're lik everyone else. sometimes u can't even tell. they're just diff in that one way. but how different are them compared to others who have certain handicaps or, more correctly, diff physical characteristics?
and of coz there's the gorgeous jack gyllenhaal to watch for.
gorgeous gorgeous!
and there's the famous line, "i wish i knew how to quit you" ahh. such passion.
