things to note:
1. HIV
cannot be spread via
- saliva, unless u kiss the infected person non-stop for 10 years non-stop to swallow 16 litres of saliva
- sharing of plates or other utensils
- toilet seats
- hugging, holding hands etc.
the disease does not discriminate. it is just like any other disease, eg. lupus, heart problems. anyone can be a victim, even monks and nuns and virgins coz it can spread through IV needles and blood transfusion. humans are the ones that discriminate. everyone says that the world is more open-minded now. maybe not coz sex is still taboo. the society discriminate against HIV+ ppl just as ppl burnt witches in the ancient times. they just do not accept.
2. condoms are not one size fit all.
i tot they were. "check the location where it is made to determine whether it is meant for caucasians or asians. and be honest." damn funny. highlight of the whole talk.
