soccer camp
soccer intoxication pt 2
my legs hurt. big time. from the butt all the way to the feet. and sitting down and getting up has nv been so painful. someone shld seriously invent some kinda machine that can massage the whole leg. instead of some useless funny stuff like uZap and iGallop.
yes! i'm back from soccer camp. 3 whole days of soccer.
kick - bath - eat- study- sleep -
kick - eat - home - sleep x3. how tiring life can be. but it was fun i must say. for one thing, it's funny to see our 'living quaters' in the canteen turn from a neat pile of bags in the morning to pile of bags and smelly shoes and socks and shin pads at 10.30am and then to pile of bags plus shoes plus socks plus shinpads plus food wrappers plus drink cups and bottles plus TYS and tutorials by 3pm then to (the stuff before) plus all the rubbish in the world by night. damn funny to see that our quarters also migrate from one end of the canteen to another and back everyday. it can be quite comfi to sleep on the benches too. (if nt for the noisy noisy interact girls giggling away on the 2nd day, i would hav rested very nicely before the gauntlet lo!!)
ah yes, the guantlet. 2 whole hours of movement. it somehow reminded me of triage and the pt session on the 3rd day of SJ camp. just that this time there are numbers like 3.2 and 50 and 2.4 to intimidate us. last time in SJ there wasn't.
just whack la! so maybe it was easier then coz we were totally lost in time.
climbing stairs will nv be the same again. 50 storeys. omg. nv tot i'll made it. totally grossed out la. but anything is better than 4.8 of 6km run. anything!maybe i shld consider joinging the vertical marathon next yr. seems fun. but i think with a whole bunch of ppl squeezing with u to get up the stairs, i doubt it'll be very fun.
oh and who could eva eva forget the finale. wah lao. the coach was super heavy lah. not that we wanna drag him. wad for? increase our resistance only. but now i think back of it rite, i can't help but think that so many females dragging a guy can only mean one thing -- ultimate male fantasy? I-YER! my hair just stood up.
oh well, sch's starting tml. back to tutorials and lectures and all the shit in the world. sometimes i can get real tired from all that training and all the funny stuff we had to go through for this cca. but from experience in my past cca, i'm afraid if i don do it now, i might regret later. sometimes i'm really sianed and feel lik ponning and sometimes cca-s become obligations. can't help it, everyone feels jaded at one point or another. three words:
it's worth it. i just hope next time when i look back and think bout the late nites, early mornings, muscle pains and all the stuff, i'll pride myself for being there and doing that.
woah...
