farewell assembly
farewell assembly yesterday! can't believe that that will be the last time i'll see the hall filled with so many ppl. well, the next time i step into the hall will be the A levels. =(
i enjoyed myself thoroughly. the performances were great and so were the videos. the skit by the teachers was so funny lah! ms rajan was shaking her booty like those in bollywood. oh, and i saw them preparing for this performance way before teachers day. very impressed with all the effort they put into this performance. there was this part where ms lui was the frontman (no, woman) of a rock band. wah lao! rocking bitch man! and i lov the emcees. their deadpan delivery is so hilarious.

last but not least, we sang the victorian anthem. that's one song i'll always remember. i can't really remember the AHS school song, partially coz it was in chinese and partially coz i don understand it. but this one is really special, every line means something (to me at least). i still remember singing it very very awkwardly during orientation. and then there was the sad moment after the soccer guys lost in 2005. and there were the many many times when we sang it so loud before going onto the pitch - regardless of the results. and of coz after winning the most important match - the finals. and there was the time when we sang after the soccer guys won. and then finally, there was this time. aww, that's one thing i'll miss doing next time. die, how can someone miss singing a school song??
oh mrs chan is leaving! even though i've nv talked to her and she was pretty nasty bout wanting to close down VJSG last yr, i still think she's a great principal. best in fact. come on, no one can deny that all those half-days/full-days sure make a huge difference to the sch's morale level. this is the 2nd time a principal is leaving with our batch. even though mr wang was horrid (coz our ears have to suffer the onslaught of terrible english), but the next AHS principal is worst. let's hope this time it'll be a change for the better. wait, the next person is a superintendent from HCI, wad are the odds?
2 years zoom by faster than i thought. but i wouldn't have liked a slower pace either. i'll miss VJC. i'm glad i chose to come here. the ppl study hard and play hard. there's always something more. i've learnt so much and grown so much since. VJSG, S12 and other random ppl i met have definitely made a diff in my JC life. especially VJSG, which i'll tok bout next time. =D

the class did this really interesting activity after farewell assembly. got into a classroom, then everyone took a construction paper, wrote their names and passed around.

ahh! the great company. i'll sure miss the horny conversations, sick jokes, gossip sessions and all ur mad laughter.
