A level is over!!!
2 years of studying. 5 subjects. 1 month of exams. 13 papers.
We stood alive. Thank God Thank God!
well, there is only two feelings in me now:
Elation and
fullyes elation, coz the exams are over! waited damn long for this moment lah. it's been on my mind everytime i'm sick of studying coz it motivates me to go on. and now it's really here and true! *triumph laughter* i was really thrilled when the examiner announced that we had to stop writing (or shading). it's finally over! Wahahaha!!
yes full, coz i spent so much money on food today lah! unbelievable. after bio paper, jane and i met up with shi min at bedok mrt and made our way down to the much-talked-about Vivocity. half the ppl whose exams end today were there lah. S12 was there, 4L ppl, some TJ ppl we noe and whole bunch of JC ppl too. we ate at superdog where the mustard and pickles were too much but the fries were gd. then met gracelyn and started walking around the spawing complex. steph and peimin joined us halfway and we ate at thai express. ate some dessert thingy called "khao niao". damn funny trying to pronouce the name!
continued walking around. i keep meeting s12 ppl along the way, which was quite delightful coz they're super entertaining butch of ppl. qiao ping bought Play Doh for her friend's birthday present (same age, mind u) totally (-.-) oh, went to candy empire to buy chocs too. everyone keeps making the joke bout entering the place on a wheelchair. one time can be funny, but it totally isn't funny when everyone keeps saying that. it's lame. stop it.
Vivocity is huge. like
gi-mongous. TM has a structure - a main circle. CS has a sturcture - a main circle too and a smaller one at the side. even ngee ann has a structure - the rich side and the not-so-rich side. but vivocity doesn't have a structure - it's like a maze. even we have trouble finding the directory to find our way around. it's like walking around with no sense of directions. spend a grand total of 7 hours there walking. we conquered the place totally, went to some shops twice too. wah, we did what most could not do! and that left us with terrible aching feet. but vivocity was a slight disappointment. Huge, well-stocked, full of all the brands in the market,
but forgettable. yup. and it'll be quite a while before i can afford to splurge on clothes there anyway. but i think the playground is very interesting though. the innovative see-saw thingy brought much fun and embarassment to us. =D and jane and gl were fascinated that they can see the sentosa merlion from vivocity. what an adorable butch of people.
so anyway, went back tamp to eat yoshinoya. everyone was left wondering how the hell we survived on macdonalds, KFC, BK, long john and bubble tea for most of our lunches during the 4 yrs in sec sch. walk around summore. and went to eat cake at cafe cartel. wah lao! i'm so going jogging in the morning man. fat stomach, almost empty wallet.
it's very delightful that the 6 of us can spend time together. since like i donno when. although i've been meeting up with jane and/or shimin and/or gl for lunch for the past 2 days. yes, holiday for me starts on tue, the celebration begins today. and these meetings will continue for the next few days. yeah man! gl said something very touching just now. steph and i are gonna cut hair on monday, she wanna tag along but she can't coz she has to go out with some other friends of hers. so she said, "i'm not cutting hair but i wanna spend time with u but..." i forgot if she conpleted her sentence but that's not the pt. the pt is that they nv say mushy stuff like, "miss u" or "we shld meet up real soon". nv nv ever. so when she said such stuff, it's really nice. and she really meant it. but that doesn't mean i would like to hear mushy stuff. i like them the way they are. mushy stuff don do for me. seriously, they sometimes send chills.
Gracelyn just answered one very interesting qn when we were in the library (kids section) a few days ago
why are children books much shorter than adult ones?
well, writers do not need to explain so much to children as compared to adults. that explains why harry potter books are getting thicker as the children reading them get older. and a lot other things too.
