prom

i wrote with a hotel pen. twice!

working really makes the time go by very quickly. it seems like a long time since VJ prom but it's actually only 5 days ago. and the A level seems a trillion years ago.

prom was not bad. the day started with a few of s12 ppl meeting to check into a room in marina mandarin hotel. the bloody make-up artist stood-ed up on us. how could she? wad a loser. in the end, yi jia just straighten my hair for me. it turned out fine and it's free summore. haha!! the rest of the class turned up soon after. all of us look so good!

then it's off to ritz calton for prom. it's just like secondary school lo. enter the grand entrance. look around and try to recognise ppl who have change a lot. make up can do wonders. take pics. take more pics. take more pics again. i saw a girl wearing a dress that i almost bought. lucky man, coz the girl carried it off better than i could have. the MC sucks coz he makes lousy jokes. the MC at AHS prom was so much better. the sound guy, who does all the stupid sound effects, should go flush his ears clean. the food, deco and services were good though. and so were some of the performances.

after prom! when back to the hotel room to change. and we walk all the way to clark quey. in heels! it's a miracle my feet survived. initially, we wanted to get into MOS but we saw a gang fight outside and decided otherwise. actually i doubt it was a gang fight. i think it was a whole lot of bouncers trying to restraint some drunkers, coz most of them were wearing the same shirts. anyway it was so smoky that it looks like dry ice coming out of the club. sick... so we went to the newly-opened Kandi Bar nearby. not bad. i ordered a lychee martini, which according to them, has the highest alcohol content among the drinks drunk by the six of us (sonia, alvin, jie wei, jeremy, zehong and i). it's quite interesting to see how alcohol can get ppl high very quickly. and i'm surprised i can hold my alcohol level fairly well.

well, that ends my JC life. at least until i get my results. i can only think of one word to sum up my 2 yrs in VJC: Breathless. in a good way or a bad way, i'll think about it later.
