laugh at the lonely heart
i heard that the results are out next fri, or at least next week. go PANIC everyone! i think we should not be made to experience this kind of anxiety too often (like once every 2 years!) it's bad for the body. we might get heart attacks by our 40's and die soon after coz of high blood pressure. they can't even wait till after CNY lo! so i guess the mood throughout CNY totally depends on the results... that calls for worrying.
life has slowed down to a hum these days. i wouldn't say it's boring. my job is very interesting, especially when it gets busy. V.day is coming so business will be booming. other than that, sleeping till mid-mornings and a short to-do list makes life very much interesting than sitting in lectures. and there's a lot of time to think: of something, of someone or of nothing at all. now, who wouldn't like that?
but i do miss school, somehow. i guess it's the feeling of being part of a group in school. oh, and there's cheap school food, school events, never-enough bitching cum dirty talking cum laughing sessions and VJSG. speaking of soccer, the girls seem to be doing really well at the recent friendly matches. good for them. frankly, i would say i'm a little envious of them, being able to play well, win matches and bond really closely. now i sound really dumb. =( nevertheless, i can't wait for the season to start so that i can watch them play!
When I saw the break of day I wished that I could fly awayInstead of kneeling in the sandCatching teardrops in my hand- come away with me by Norah Jonesbtw, wentworth miller is so so hot. i noe this is so yesterday. but i just watched my recorded season finale of prison break. i don quite get the whole plot, especially the president part but they left the show at a major cliffhanger. how could they do this to us! i can't wait for season 2! and i just realise he's in the 'we belong together' music video by mariah carey. he sure looks different without his prison clothes.
singapore tv should really learn a thing or two bout american tv. despite all the crap, like stupid reality shows and MTV crap, good shows like this still come up. plus, their comedies are really hilarious. who doesn't love 'that 70s show' and 'two and a half men' and 'everybody loves raymond'? wad bout s'pore? we have good props and skills to shoot a show. but terribly lousy script writers and producers. all chinese drama serials are about families, kids, families, mom and dad, families. and everyone is linked to everyone one way or another. is the world like that? have u seen 'the peak' shown on channel 8 9pm? and the local comedies...err...haha...oh man!!
