time to gather up the mud
i had the worst driving lesson today coz i felt totally demoralised. it is a perfect example of Murphy's law, maybe i shld site my case to wikipedia to illustrate such a chiem law. anyway, it has been ages since i did the stations in the whole curcuit. the last few lesson was mostly used for parking. then for this lesson, the instructor went straight into the evaluation using the checklist. actually it's partially my fault for that misunderstanding: he tot that i had gone through everything in the previous lesson, while i tot he meant that i had finish learning everything. -.-.
and of coz, everything was a total failure. the first was vertical parking and i took like freaking 3 tries to complete it coz i totally forgot the correct positioning part. slope was bad bad bad. parallel parking, dir change, s course was ok. crank course was horrendous coz i mould the curb and turned into the course when i'm in the right lane. i must have failed the thing many times over! super sad sia. =(
the road was ok. that's what i like bout the road. it's based on common sense and practise, so i think i did ok. except for the usual lane change hesitation. i sincerelly hope that everyone will be nice on my test date coz the last thing i want is a car driving at my blind spot when i'm doing test route 6.
lucky the instructor was pretty nice. i think coz he taught me before and knew that i'm not a total failure. he taught me again and after that everything was a-ok. *smile a bit* i regained half of my confidence after that. *phew* so it means that i did not complete the check list today, what a wasted lesson. in fact, this kinda bloody thing shld not happen again.
i have 2 more lessons left! and it's during the 2 days before the real thing. if i ever screw up, i'm really gonna bang my head or something. is 2 lessons enough? i need advice man!

to VJSG. next time, we'll/you'll not be talking bout the results or the medals. conversations will be about the times spent together. like how silly and hilarious salome/jing jing/coaches can get. the coaches do not say this just for the sake of saying something, it's is true and only time will tell.
yesterday's match was played to a nail-biting, heart-thumbing and head-spinning finish. i'm so proud of VJSG 06/07 for you guys really played your hearts out. the women soccer standard has really gone up a level and it can only get more exciting from here! i have to mention that everytime someone gave a good kick, we can hear the guys going "wow!", that's really something!
anyway, i think it was rather thick-skinned of us seniors to hop onto the bus to return to VJC. but i'm glad i did that. after listening to the coaches' debrief, salome, grace, shiling and i went to wander the track and the pitch, plus we talked, sprinted and attempted hurdles. gosh, i missed that place like siao man! sigh, i guess the end of the season also means that a new chapter is starting real soon.
