on the wrong side of the island
just received the NTU enrollment package and another large envelope for all the camps etc. (half of the flyers are by christians/catholics/buddhists groups! *gasp*) and then it really hit me, i'm going to the University! the whole new course, the people, the hostel life, the spawing complex (being on the wrong side of the island). this thought was really far away when i was in JC, coz everyone has to go through the bloody A lvls. it was always, "where to? see results then say lo." yup, it was so far off and there wasn't really time to think about what it would be like in Uni. University seems so far away during the 7 mths holidays too.
guess all of these will be starting soon. the feeling is kinda different from the one i had before i enter JC. i was kinda dreading that JC was starting then, the thought of the crazy orientation made it worse. but this time i'm actually feeling excited! maybe it's because there seems to be a lot of ppl going ntu and Jane being my roommate makes me feel very comfortable. my JC days were so crazy, so i guess uni can't be far off. maybe that's why the anxious feeling is at its minimum.
plus, i think i'm going to sign up for the Sports camp with wara. can't believe i'm in for such stuff when i had been wanting to skip orientation all these while.
