sensing the sixth sense
while on the the bus 969 today (969 totally rocks my socks coz it get's to yishun and woodlands via the TPE and SLE in 30 min flat! they should have more of such buses and there'll be no global warming), i heard a song that i've never heard for a long time.
When you are with meI’m free~I’m careless~I believe~Above all the others we’ll flyThis brings tears to my eyesMy sacrifice~my sacrifice. Creedthis was the song used for the video that az showed us before the finals. gosh just a simple song can bring back so many memories. it's like the whole thing was playing in my head, like a video. nah it didn't bring tears to my eyes but it did make my hair stand when the chorus was played. and there we were running ourselves down and fighting for whatever that was worth again.
i've been reading blogs where ppl lament that they're jaded. well, maybe ''lament" may not be the right word to use but i do believe that they did really put in extremely huge amount of effort. i guess to noe if you're jaded, just ask the simple qn, "if i were to have a chance to do it again, would i?"the answer will be your conclusion. i guess it's the same for me. VJSG has made me tired physically and emotionally, that's y dragonboat don't do for me anymore. call me weak but i do sincerely felt it was really a hell of a rollercoaster for VJSG. then again, now i'm thrown into a cheerleading team for hall8. wad the hell is wrong?! and don't laugh lo... cheerleading is hard work but fun too. and there are tons more guys than girls.
roy was rite, as we grow older, the herding instinct gradually faded. i'm slowing doing things on my own instead of pulling a fren to join me. or the other way around.
guess we're all really growing up...
