did i fall for a shooting star?
i am extremely pleased to say that i am having the time of my life now. i always tot jc would be the most enjoyable time i'll every had, with VJSG, s12 bitch gang and that 2c group of girls. guess i was wrong, my daily life is so much more fun and exciting now. =D
before anyone thinks i am getting religious or philosophical, or assumes that i just got hitched, i must say that it is just the daily activities that make me happy everyday.
school is great. i'm probably one of a few sick ppl to say it. i'm not totally ace-ing in my subjects but at least i am enjoying what i am studying in NBS. true, we have to take damn dry subjects like statistics and economics, but there are interesting things like marketing and organizational behaviour courses to liven things up in school. actually much of this has to be attributed to good team mates and teachers. i guess i am extremley fortunate to have gd team mates that are cooperative and enthusiatic. haha! and things are so much better to study than science, which is totally a one-way street.
then there is hall life. wah, this is the highlight of my first yr in uni life. sure there is cheer competition, but training hasn't ended yet. there is still national vertical marathon performances. and that means there are still a few more nights when the team comes down and train, slack, chat, bitch and laugh our asses off. i heard ppl keep saying that cheerleading girls everytime kena taken advantage off (as in physically), esp after they've seen our impromptu training on the beach last sunday. with the guy holding the waist and the hand at the butt to push the girl up and the cradle everytime we pop and the saving everytime we fall, sometimes we the poor girls are totally taken advantage of. but it's the trust and respect for each other that makes the team, both guys and girls, so close to each other. i'll definitely miss training when it all ends. imagine, 3 whole months without hall life and cheer. sigh, it'll be hard lo.
then there is the usual dinners after a long day of school with roomie, neighbours and cheer ppl. it is quite relaxing to wind down after a long day at school with a nice dinner with friends. and the long chatting aka bitching session. and there is the late night supper at some far-flung coffee shops. and there is the impromptu movie marathon sessions through the night. now, this is what i call recreational activities. haha!
