life: it goes on
it's been raining buckets and rivers and oceans lately. strangely enough, i suddenly realised how silent it is when it rains. no one is rushing around, everyone's mood is more mellow and calm and there are less noise around. just the constant pattering of water on concrete and leaves. this sudden appreciation comes after the constant dislike for rain since sec sch, when everything needs a wet weather plan. it's kinda pleasurable to chill(literally) in the room typing away or stand at my room door and watch the rain wash the trees and rooftops. from there, everything slows down. =)
my badly-needed mid-wk entertainment comes in the form of The Leap Years. it was a break well-deserved, considering that we've all been slogging for test and proj ever since the start of recess wk. so it was off to JP with the cheer ppl after cls to watch that movie that everyone said was very nice. indeed, it turned out to be quite good. definitely one of the best local production coz it has a unique way of filming and telling the story and it really showcases the cityscape of s'pore (ignore all the jarring sponsors' logos throughout). and the acting was not bad (ignoring 715's half past six english).
coincidence is God's way of remianing anonymous. guess even God likes to play tricks.
