what if you're making me all that i was meant to be
i received a random act of kindness from a stranger last wednesday. it was so out of the blue that it amazes me till now. i had absent-mindedly left my thumdrive in the free access lab on monday. seems like i didn't realised it was missing at all. till i receive this random sms,
"hi. i'm fidaus. did u leave ur thumbdrive in the fal? sorry i had to open e doc inside to find your number. when can i meet u to return it?" that's so sweet of that guy rite!? seems like it was just lying there on the table for 2 whole days till he saw it and decided to do something. well, i guess i would be like the other users who will just ignore it.
so anyway, he happened to meet his friend, who was also happened to be my project mate. and so she could recognise my thumbdrive! wad are the odds! the conclusion is, i got back my thumbdrive through her and nv eva got to meet this guy to thank him properly. i've nv knew strangers could be that helpful and singapore (or rather ntu/nbs) was so small. =D
moving on, i think many have this misconception that i pull out of the race solely coz of the competitor. well, i would say that was one of the reasons (she was well known and it is after all, a popularity competition), but it's definitely not the main one. i come to uni to study and graduate with a kick ass cert. i don think it is nice to let my grades drop while i'm this close to the next class honours, plus i only have 3 years in school. so i conclude i can't summon the commitment needed to be in it 110% and still maintain my grades. plus, there are so much more opportunities out there to make a difference to anyone and everyone, nt only hall.

perhaps we all may be average joes who are totally wound up in our busy lives
perhaps we're so caught up with our paper chases and daily miscellaneous handlings and stresses that we forgot anyone else out there
therefore, perhaps we shld stop complaining and bitching bout any minute details that just hinders us a little and just be glad we can enjoy a good life.
on one last minor pt, i'm really enjoying wad i'm studying for my specialization. tourism is really fun to study coz it's very relatable and the content is interesting. plus there is nt alot of tutorial to do. wahaha!
