the soundtrack of my summer~
singaporeans are such practical creatures that have an outrageous need to get free stuff. i was at raffles city working (or more like volunteering) for the STB F1 promo event. so it's just to dress in some cute outfit and give out free stuff like stickers and flags and car decals to the crowd. when we're giving out the flags, everyone practically swamp to us. like really! they just keep asking for it. then when we ran out of flags and gave out stickers and car decals only, the people are not so crazily enthu anymore. it's kinda siao.
and now i finally understand what's it like to give flyers to the singaporean crowd. it is a SUCKY job. yeah there are some tt smile at you but those who don wan anything really tao like you're invisible. and lucky the stuff tt i'm givng out are pretty interesting, unlike the normal flyers, imagine if the stuff are like slimming adverts and tuition flyers. from now on, i'll smile and politely decline all flyer distributors and tell them to have a nice day ahead.
but... no tourism related event without some glitz and glamour! even if it's a bit. haha! the channel 8 焦点 ppl came down to do a segment for thurs show. well, they already allocated ppl to be filmed so i wasn't interviewed (plus my chinese sure chui like shit). but got to be filmed in action and had to do my job at the background while the ppl are having their interview. mah chiam like calafare! hahaha!! the host was very friendly and very easy to chat with.. i forgot her name. =( she's quite motherly actually. of coz! pic with a star is a must!

yep! so it was a gd start for a very short job. very very short indead. like 2 hrs each for the next 2 days at raffles city, then 4 hrs for another 3 days at changi T2. nothing to do can come get free limited F1 stuff! haha!
other than tt, recess week will be filled with proj, catching up of tut.. well deserved break before the mad rush during the 2nd half of the sem. =)
