They tell me your blue sky fade to grey
Today I finally learnt about the vast difference between schooling and working. I was told before that the consequences of wrong decisions and mistakes made during school is nothing compared to what we face in the working world. That person who told me that is absolutely correct. One wrong move made in school only affects oneself or one's exam grades or project grades, but a wrong decision made at work greatly affects one's reputation and the workings of the team.
I learnt this the hard way after a horrid day at work. It isn't easy dealing with all the million gazillion factors around me and maintaining focus with the guest, who is starring right at you. It sucks for my mistakes to be expose. My only consolation is that so far, the mistakes were found out by my bosses/colleagues before it affects any guest. My greatest fear is that something will blow up right in front of my eyes and people get fucked upside down. =(
From now on, no more mistakes!!!
